Founded in 1989 as Protrade and Woodline Manufacturing (PTY) Ltd, we began our journey as an export manufacturer of wooden umbrellas and outdoor furniture. Over the years, we honed our expertise in the umbrella industry, leading to our rebrand in 2017 as Woodline Shade Solutions (PTY) Ltd. Recognizing the potential of the North American market, we established Woodline Shade Solutions, Inc. in the USA that same year.

Our Shade Solutions division has since become synonymous with innovation and quality in the shade industry. We offer a diverse range of top-tier shade products, including dual post, cantilever, and center pole umbrellas, each meticulously crafted to meet the highest standards. Backed by a 7-year warranty on our solution-dyed acrylic fabrics, our products deliver unparalleled comfort, protection, and style for residential, commercial, and event applications.

At the heart of our operations is our vertically integrated production plant in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. This strategic location, within a rapidly growing urban area and close to major seaports, allows us to maintain complete control over our manufacturing process. Our sales and distribution centers in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and the USA ensure efficient delivery and exceptional customer service.

For your convenience, you’ll be dealing directly with a US company. We deliver directly to you from our strategically located North American warehouse in Greensboro, North Carolina. This eliminates unnecessary steps and streamlines the delivery process.

We maintain a well-stocked inventory at our Greensboro warehouse to fulfill your orders promptly. To ensure constant availability of our products, we regularly replenish our North American stock with shipments from our South African facility. These airfreight shipments occur monthly, guaranteeing a reliable supply chain and faster delivery times for our valued customers.
